Description
Fazenda Pedra Grande sits at the heart of Brazil’s most established coffee growing region: South Minas Gerais, near the city of Campestre. At 1,150m above sea level, the farm benefits from steady climate conditions ideal for producing high quality Brazilian coffee. Spanning 664 hectares, the estate is a large-scale yet carefully managed operation, now in its third generation under the leadership of Livia Moraes Ribeiro. With an annual output of around 15,000 bags, Fazenda Pedra Grande combines tradition and modern agricultural practices, producing 70% natural and 30% pulped natural coffees that reflect the region’s classic sweetness and rich mouthfeel.
Covering 400 hectares, the coffee plantations are supported by advanced drip irrigation systems, a sustainable approach that improves water efficiency and consistency in production. Beyond its agricultural output, the farm demonstrates a strong commitment to environmental stewardship, dedicating 135 hectares to protected natural forest. This ensures biodiversity conservation while maintaining ecological balance. Livia oversees a team of 36 skilled professionals, all engaged in continuous training to refine their sustainability practices and elevate quality year after year. Fazenda Pedra Grande is a shining example of Brazilian coffee done at scale, responsibly and with remarkable attention to detail.

Producer Story
The estate is led by Livia Moraes Ribeiro, the third generation of the Ribeiro family to manage Fazenda Pedra Grande. Livia’s approach balances innovation, sustainability, and respect for her family’s farming heritage. With a workforce of 36 trained professionals, she maintains a focus on environmental conservation and production efficiency, supported by modern irrigation and large areas of preserved native forest. Her stewardship has positioned the farm as a benchmark in South Minas Gerais, producing consistent, high quality Yellow Bourbon harvested from June to September and processed using the pulped natural method.
Why We Love it
This Yellow Bourbon pulped natural embodies everything we love about specialty Brazilian coffee: sweet caramel aromatics, nutty richness, and a creamy, dense body. Bright orange-like acidity lifts the cup, while layers of chocolate, plum, and apple add depth and complexity. Clean, transparent, and beautifully balanced, Fazenda Pedra Grande delivers a comforting yet vibrant profile with a long, satisfying finish a standout everyday coffee with genuine character.
